He used to be mad before marriage being worried about my whereabouts. Now, he makes it a point to charge my phone as well. This behavior of him, to express love with fewer words and more by doing, makes me fall in love with him more and more every day. I really think that it’s more complicated than that. This takes a binary view of all or nothing, and there are shades of grey here. I believe that you can be in love with your ex as they were at a certain stage of your relationship, and I believe that whatever your ex felt for you at that point was real and genuine. That was not an idea—everything between you really did happen, and it’s a part of your history.
